What does “great service” mean to you?
To me great service is ensuring we achieve the best outcome for a customer in a timely fashion and keeping customers updated along the way. Taking time to get things right is perfectly fine, if the customer is kept in the loop.
What’s your go-to approach when a case is tricky?
I rely on the expertise within our Risk Managed team, as we have a wealth of knowledgeable colleagues who are always eager to help.
What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Winning a new business case. While renewals are incredibly important, there’s nothing quite like securing a new client - it’s a clear testament to the competitiveness of our offering in the market.
Biggest office snack weakness?
I’m partial to a Subway lunch; Italian BMT.
If you weren’t in insurance, what would you be doing?
The dream would be to be a full-time runner, whether that’s as a so-called “influencer” or as a professional.
What's your claim to fame?
I once met Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge. Sadly, there’s no photo evidence!
Office or home playlist: what song are you skipping, and what are you blasting?
I have carefully curated playlists so I can’t name a skip, but at the moment, I’m blasting “Contigo” by a band called Makari – I’d describe them as atmospheric rock.
What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?
Architects at Alexandra Palace. They have a song that’s dedicated to a band member who sadly passed away and the whole venue was incredible when they played that song; very emotional.
