1. Can you share a success story where your team's expertise saved the day?

Not everybody in the industry lives and breathes recruitment risks like we do at Pen Underwriting. Almost daily, we offer our brokers assistance with new or existing risks, and the technical advice required for them to hold high-level conversations with their prospects/clients to understand their business's current and future exposures.

2. In one sentence, what sets your team apart from the rest in the industry?

Service and product – whether it's access to our specialist underwriters or claims handlers, we’re always at the end of the phone to discuss all queries. Our product is well established within the recruitment sector and has consistently supported businesses to fulfill new contracts to assist them in their growth journey by being able to offer higher limits where contractually required.

3. What’s your claim to fame?

I met Gary Mabbutt whilst in Middle School. Being a Tottenham Hotspurs fan this is on of my favourite memories!

4. If you had a superpower what would it be?

Teleportation – the ability to spend my lunch breaks anywhere in the world without the time and expense needed to travel would be fabulous.

5. If you didn’t work in insurance, what would you be doing?

Anything where sailing is involved. I am at my happiest when out on the water.
